Come up with a list of rules for your guild. Make them available to your guild mates via a web page, if possible, or you can pass them out via email. Many common problems can be solved by coming up with rules and making sure everyone is aware of them. As various issues come up, you can simply update the rules as you go. The rules need to change with the times and the guild. You can consult with officers to think of rules that should be added or modified before posting them for all members. Most people are fine with rules as long as they are public and easily accessible. Remember, it's good to make sure your members are aware of the game policies. |
Right click on the purchased tab to change the tab icon and to rename the tab. In this exmple, the guild master decides to dedicate this guild tab to hold recipes for the guild. Naming it "Recipes" and choosing an icon, the guild master can then decide who will have access. |
Daily Battleground quests award bonus honor and gold for winning a different battleground each day. Look for Alliance Brigadier Generals and Horde Warbringers near your faction's battlemasters in all capital cities.
Daily Dungeon quests are available for both the Heroic and Normal five-person Outland dungeons, as well as for the five-person Caverns of Time instances. Each day both a single heroic and a single normal dungeon are targeted by these quests. The Consortium quest givers can be located in Shattrath's Lower City. You receive gold and bonus Badges of Justice for the Heroic dailies, and gold and an Ethereum Prison Key for the Normal dailies.
Daily Cooking quests are available from The Rokk in Shattrath City. In addition to gold, you can receive random cooking reagents and new recipes as a reward for completing these quests. |
Performing the actual work involved for a quest has its own rewards, but an additional experience-point bonus will usually be awarded once the character reports to the appropriate NPC (non-player character) to conclude the quest. Characters can also receive money and/or magic items in exchange for completing quests, not to mention trade-skill recipes, spells, buffs, and much more. Also, World of Warcraft features a flexible reward system: players are often able to choose from a selection of quest rewards that best suit their character or their tastes. |
If you're a solo player, do all of the quests you can in a region, then travel to another region of around the same level and start the quests there. Some of them will be much easier because the quests will be lower level than you, but these quests are often part of an ongoing story that will increase in difficulty. |
Focus in a particular region whenever possible
Rather than bouncing around, it's usually best to do all the quests you can in a particular zone. Once you get to quests that are too hard or that you can't find groups to complete, then you must move on to another zone with easier quests or more people to play with. |
Hit "L" in order to bring up your quest log. From there, you can see the quests you have, and read about what they require you to do, and the rewards you will receive. Quests are divided up by regions for your convenience.

Enter the queue
You can go to the battlemaster at the major cities to enter the Battleground queue. Once you sign onto the queue, remember that you can do whatever you want while you wait. While waiting, you could use your hearthstone to port back to town to manage your bank account, check out the auction house, or send mail. Or you could also head off into the world and work on some quests, or kill monsters for loot and reputation gain. Once the battleground is ready, you can enter it from wherever you happen to be. Keep in mind that outside of its holiday weekend, Alterac Valley will tend to have the longest average queue of the four battlegrounds. |
